Time and time again, friends and relatives asked me, "Ok, Drew, explain to me one more time exactly how you do this?" While the concept itself has always been extremely simple to explain, demonstrating and detailing the actual execution in a way that could be easily replicated was challenging. While it is very simple to explain in written form and by listing examples, it was quite difficult to explain through conversation alone. This website became my way of detailing for them exactly what I do and how I do it so that they could cut, paste, and retire in style alongside me.

I graduated from University of Hawaii in 1994 with an English degree. Although I spent most of my time there analyzing and writing papers for and against the arguments posed by the literary greats (yawn), I have always had a keen interest in the workings of business and economics. When I wasn't busy suffering through Shakespeare, Chaucer and Thoreau, I was entranced by books like "The Millionaire Next Door" and inhaling financial magazines like Money, Kiplinger's and Fortune to learn everything I could about how to make money (and more importantly, how to KEEP it).

I firmly believe that an interesting book or revealing financial magazine stimulates the mind and opens it up to, many times, think beyond what is written. Almost all of my entrepreneurial ideas have come to me while reading. Sometimes the idea is a direct result of something I have just learned but much of the time it is not. The simple act of reading and learning seems to cause the mind to wander, scheme and create. This is exactly how the strategy I write about in these pages came about.

The great thing about the strategy is that you don't have to be an economist, physicist or an accountant to understand it. Heck, if a guy with an English degree could devise this strategy, surely just about anyone can implement it! Learn about the epiphany that started the whole thing here.

When I'm not busy scheming, planning or working at my real job, I spend most of my time with my wonderful wife and beautiful 2 girls. I just can't wait 'til they're old enough to start qualifying for credit! ;}
